With reference to your despatch No.70 of
15th March, I have the honour to inform you that the 16 shares on the Hongkong register of the Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation which stood in the name of Mr. A. H. Wilzer have now been sold and the proceeds amounting to 812,693,47 are in the hands of the Custodian.
2.
I should be glad to receive instructions
as to the disposal of the sum realised. Should it be decided to make any further payment to Mr. Wilzer such payment could be made either from funds already remitted to the Crown Agents or from the balance held by the
Custodian in Hongkong.
